Position Summary

Work with a team to provide a high level of customer service, handle inbound and outbound sales and service calls in an efficient and effective manner. Qualified applicants must have excellent customer service and strong phone skills, ability to manage a variety of sales goals and a willingness to participate in continuing education.


  • Conduct inbound and/or outbound sales calls in an enthusiastic, efficient, service orientated and professional manner

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of Company processes and Company offerings

  • Identify and introduce cross sell opportunities to grow the business, understanding and leveraging all aspects of the sales process

  • Consistently provide the highest level of customer care/service

  • Attend team and inter-department meetings as scheduled

  • Maintain excellent working knowledge of HVAC Systems, as well as changes and challenges of our industry

  • Consistently strive to personify Company Core Values

  • Provide team support outside of customer care as needed by cross training and providing additional telephone coverage during high volume

  • Consistently meet or exceed the expected performance goals communicated by customer care management

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed

  • Maintain high level knowledge of Company Software and account management system(s)

  • Demonstrated competencies in PC Literacy in a Windows based environment possessing a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills

  • Detail orientated and able to consistently produce accurate and detailed set up sheets

  • Team player who possesses high levels of integrity, caring and ownership

  • Working knowledge of call center phone systems a plus

  • Keep deadlines and exercise good judgment and high problem solving skills

  • Use initiative and an innovative approach to daily tasks and have an always be learning attitude

  • Experience in energy industry or related field a plus

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 Years Customer Service or Inside Sales experience

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite or CRM/ERP systems (required)

  • Experience working in a Phone queue system

  • Knowledge of the Energy Industry (Oil, HVAC and/or Propane)
